all i gotta say is wow...i just got my ct racing pipe on and it kicks ***.if you dont believe me then listen to this..i took off my dg full exhaust pipe no sparkarrester or baffle straight threw pipe and i have more power with my ct racing pipe with sparkarrester and 95db them the dg...i would put the ct racing pipe against all other pipes for the kfx400.and everyone should check out www.ehsracing.com get the kit for your air box.. its better than the k&n filter lid. Also im selling the dg full exhaust for $250.00 if interested please send me a message

 

ive only heard alittle about the ct but it all is good . glad to hear you like it. does it have power through the hole power band or is it a low or high torque pipe? what did you pay for it?

 

i gained more power all around.i also put a big gun rev box and i think it was the best idea to do.i got the pipe for 489.00 and i love it ...

 

did you check your water pump cover for corrosion? mine had it!! kawi f@#ked me and say my warrenty was out so its my problem. i ordered a 04 cover and gasket ,($200 and it doesn't even make it faster). i was thinking about taking the 05 off and cutting out the corrosion and maybe powdercoating it and maybe selling the 04.

 

crap iv been meaning to check it. my warrenty is still up i have until march before it ends.is it now under warranty or is it going to be a recall .. what fluid did they put in it .. and can i just drain and put evans coolant in it

 

if i was you i'd check my self first(05-06 all will have prob sone or later). i took a picture of it with my phone and showed my dealer. i went to missouri for christmas and the suz. dealer knew about it there but wasnt suppose to say anything yet. when i got back from miss. i went and talked to my dealer. he acted like he never heard of it.
i showed him my picture and told him i talked to kawi cust.service and to have him call them and see if they could work something out. i told him just get me the 04 plate and i'll do it my self. he said he still had not heard of the prob. but when i showed him the pictures one of the mechanics was in his office with a big grin on his face.

i said you know what im talking about dont you, he just smiled. dont let them bull $hit you, tell them you want a new clutch cover if its a 05 tell them to flush it and use the evens. if they use reg coolant you'll have the same prob.

i called kawi cust.ser. and they told me its my prob, im out of warrenty. long story short,they got cuzzed out for 5 days strait!! i think i'll call them mon. to say hi!!!!
