I'm looking at a 2002 650 Praire with 4300 miles on it and the guy wants $3500. Can anyone tell me if this is a deal or not and should I look out for something with this ATV. Has anyone had any major problems? Any information would be great, thanks.

 

in my opinion, thats way too much for a machine 4 yrs old with that many miles. you can get a brand new brute650 for5800.00 BRAND NEW. dont do it

 

i agree with redbarnbrute. That's a lot of money for a machine that old with that many miles on it.

 

what would be a decent price to ask? I was thinking of offering $3000.

 

have you saw it in person good? does it look clean and well maintained? i dont know even if i'd put 3 grand in something with 4300 miles. id offer him 2750 because of the mileage. , dont offend him though. just my 2 cents man. hard call

 

I have seen a picture of it that he emailed me and they thing doesn't look anything a 02 with over 4000 miles. I'm supposed to go look at it this weekend. It looks to be in great shape but the miles are a little scary.

 

I got 23000km over 1000 hours on my 02 650, this one not even broken in yet LOL. When you look at it take a quick look at the air filter, you can tell when it's abused. Price is a little high but I would want more than that if I sell my 650.

 

I just found a 2003 with 1600 miles for $3900. Seems like a much better deal then the other. What you guys think about the price and the machine?

As for the machine, I bought a leftover '05 in Oct and love it. I bought the BF after a ton of research. A few things I like about the BR are the sealed rear brake and the variable locking diff. Everybody had their favorite machines, but this was the right one or me. They also got great reviews.

I understand the miles thing (hard or soft). I'm looking to add a big bore to my fleet and have heard good things about Kawasaki. I like the features of the 650s and was wondering about what everyone thought about them and if they have any idea of what is a good price.
