Default "Real" airbox on a Lakata

Has anyone ever tried to fit a 300EX airbox or anything like that on a Lakota? That factory box is nothing short of a weird joke. I've thought of a clamp-on, but worried about water as we get into some fairly deep stuff at times.

im not going to get into a long explination about it because i have too many times before but the clamp on filters will make your engine LOOSE power alot....when i ran a uni pod on my lakota i lost 25psi of compression and it ran wicked rich which ment it flowed less proving that it didnt work......then i threw my stock box back on and i got my compression back and my jetting became perfect....the reason the clampons suck is because the lakotas need velocity and a clamp on filter dosnt provide any....believe it or not the stock setup is not all that bad...just remove the snorkel tube and put some uni filter vents in the lid if you want some more power......your only other option would be to build a nicly designed aluminum box or get a cwr kit and make a box for it.......
