Default Which pipe is better?

I have a KFX 400 and I am going to put on a pipe. I was given two systems in my price range, FMF and Yoshimura. Which is better? Maybe there is another exaust system in the $400. range that is good. I need to keep the noise down below 94 dec.
Thanks,
Doug

i have the yoshimura full comp. IMO it is the best pipe, but it is quite loud. you can get it at rockymountainatv.com for about $400, and they make a silencer endcap for like 25 bucks which brings it down to 93 db. Make sure you get the right jets for it as well.

dynojet is the way to go if you want a wide range of jets, or you could buy them seperately for like 4 bucks each.

It's good to know that the local shop knows what they are doing. Hey man, Thanks for your help.

IMO on the kawzuki 400 motor nothing can compare to the yoshi pipe. I had the full system on my old z400 was my first update and probably the biggest improvement ever done to the bike. I rode several others with different pipes but none made the bang for the buck that the yoshi did. what can I say those guys know their stuff. enough for me to invest another 3 grand in a 440 kit from them later. and IMO I got more instant power from the pipe than I did the 440 kit. the 440 is mainly 4 bottom end grunt.
