That run is 2 miles, on a paved road, hitting a downward slope. It didnt take 2 miles to get there, but thats how far i had to go to get home. If it is wind in my face, then it wont happen. But ive had this thing at 70-72mph. I also broke mine in different, drive it like its someone elses type break in that ilearned from a website, and it works very well. I broke my honda in this way, and it is 13 yrs old and still strong. I also thought my speedo was off so i took it in to dealer. They said everything checked. The guy test drove it, and hit 69mph. He said once in a while you get a V-Twin that isnt properly "detuned" for safety. It wont hurt it, it just has a little more power than usual

Yep, those are the right top speeds for the V2. Mine hits about 53 in low and 73 in high. Gets to 65 pretty fast and then to top end in less than half mile. Pavement of course.
Oh yeah, no belt slippage.

The cat in low tops out at around 53 and like 62 in high, I did not believe it til my friend showed me. .I know the cat has 26" stockers and the p650 25 " but I do believe that low gearing on both machines is different.Thats why the dealers stress using low on the cat.My friend hardly ever uses high at least thats what he told me.
