with my tax return i was goin to get a hmf slip on and a pro design pro flow kit and a dyno jet jet kit......all the bike has is a 13t fr sprocket(its a 06)....all the other 400s(most with mods) i raced ive beat...will i c a difference with the mods? are the 06 bikes faster than the other years?.. what u guys think?...

The 05/06's aren't that much faster than the 03/04's. Go back to a 14T in the front with a full pipe/air filter/jet kit. Just putting a slip-on will not make much difference except in the noise department. With a full exhaust the header is bigger than stock and allows for mroe exhaust flow.

 

lol slip ons add almost as much as full systems, it depends on the header design, HMF slip ons will add plenty of power, you might get an extra horse with headers but i dont think its worth the extra 100-150 bucks

 

will a uni airfilter make the 03-04 z400 faster than the 05-06?
