Default "update" steering knuckle recall

hey guys, just wanted to let you know about my 2005 700 prairie. I had the knuckle recall done about 400 miles ago, and tonight i was checking my wheeler over for another trip and wiggled the front right wheel and it had quite a bit of play. What i found is that when the dealer put the new knuckles in, they left the washer that goes on the top side of the knuckle where the outer tie rod goes through it out. And the tie rod was actually wearing into the knuckle and that made it loose. If you guys have had your recall done, it definitly would not hurt to check to see if the washer is still there. What will happen like mine started doing, is the tie rod is made of harder metal than the aluminum knuckle and will wear down the knuckle ruining it. sorry so long but just trying to help out others that have helped me............................later, to see if that washer is in there you will probably have to remove the outer tie rod from the knuckle and this washer should be sitting in the recessed part of the knuckle if not they left it out.
