I don't know. I can check my service manual. Top speed is about 40; if you want more power, just buy a bigger machine. Mine is in no hurry to get anywhere, but, it's fun, it was cheap, and it is a workhorse. A little advice-
Don't suddenly go from 3/4 open to wide open multiple times. I sheared the key on the flywheel that way, and now I'm having a heck of a time trying to get it to stay on. I got sick of working on the 1984 KLR250 enduro tonight, so I switched projects, and went to the Bayou, and was disappointed with it, again, that the flywheel couldn't stay on.
