My sons 185 bayou started acting up on him this past weekend.It started running rough,and was hard starting.I went out this morning,and it will only stay running with the choke on full.As soon as I turned the choke off,it would die.

The fuel filter is new.I'm going to take the carb apart and soak it,then blow it out and try that.Any other suggestions?

 

How old is the gas?
When was the last time the valve adj was done?

 

Fresh gas.The motor was done this winter and the valves are new.

I just finished cleaning the carb.It will idle now,but spits and sputters when I give it throttle.
