does the K and N air filter protect u against dust as much as a regular foam air filter does????

 

Some will disagree, but I say yes it will. Get the correct cleaning kit for it and use the K&N oil. Also if you use the outter wear it will keep the water away from the cotton.
If you are lazy, I would stick with a stock filter. If you keep on top of a K&N it will filter very good.
