I went and picked up my new Brute Force 650 i yesterday. My wife and I went on a ride today. Man that thing is awsome. First impression. I love it. It looks big but has a real nimble feel to it. WOW the power is incredible. I am very happy with this bad a$$ quad so far. I look forward to getting it back out on the trails again. Looks like we will be going again this weekend. I will give more updates on what I think about it if anyone wants. Good Times!!!!!!!

Congrats. As long as you use LOW gear when you are pulling, mudding, going slow, hill climbing, etc you wont have any probs from the belt. Good luck.

Has anyone ever had a ton of trouble with the belt. mostly do to water crossing or big mud.

Thinking about buying the Rincon or the 650 brute. will be mostly mudding and trail rides.

any input on which one i should get?

thanks guys

Yeah this is my first big bore quad. I really liked my kodiak. I was just ready for something with more power. Besides it is a great quad for my wife. So now we both have something to ride.

it's good to see a few more 650i machines on the boards. the belt drive is tough enough if you keep the water out of 'em. i took mine to Moab, loaded it down with me, my GF, extra fuel and water and enough tools to make getting back to the truck pretty likely, and did the Poison Spider/Golden Spike/Gold bar rim trail (rated as 4+ , the toughest atv trail in Moab according to the local atv club). it did just fine despite some torture on that ride. we had a blast.

if my 650i got stolen or wrecked, i doubt if i'd even look at any other atv. i'd just go get another camo 650i and order Bighorns.
