I recently looked at both of these machines. My question is will they have enough power for me. I am about 6'2 and weigh 240. I have a lot of people suggesting that I go with the Honda 400ex, but I do not particularly like the price tag. Thanks in advance

I am 6'3" and wegh 230 i have a mojave and love it i have no problems with it... i would suggest the mojave un less you don;t like shifting

 

Depending on how much power you want you will probably be okay. I think you will feel cramped on these machines though. I'm 6 foot 185, that is about the limit for me for a long ride.

 

They are basically the same thing, my friend has a 97 lakota and that goes pretty good, I rode an OLD 89 mojave and it kinda stunk.. but it was also alot older.. anyways they are both good machines so either way you should be happy

 

Ramimac, I put the DG pipe and silencer on my 95 mojave and noticed a big difference on the low and mid range power. I really got the DG kit because I liked the sound increase, but the power gain was kinda like a bonus! The $160 dol price for the complete syst. is also hard to beat! Hope this helps
