Have you seen the new CAN-AM BRP Renegade?

It seems Scott Kilby and Mike Penland had a huge hand in designing this one! 800 cc, 597lb, selectable 4wd, Holeshot ATRs, killer lighting, and no racks.
Now just drop the price below $7000 or better yet Kawi needs to buck-up and take this one on head to head.

YEA, have you seen the price tag on that thing . A guy would just about be as well off to get a 700p, drop some weight off of it, and put some of that money you saved into the motor. I'm not bomb bashing, they have really stepped up to the plate and brought the heat. As you said Kawi better stand up and be heard because they are lossing the big bore title. That's just my opinion but, let's see what kawi comes up with for 07, they will not sit by for long and keep losing market share.

Yeah but the Renegade is a sport 4x4. BF has a 750V-Twin which spits out plenty of power, at a better price than bom. And its a UTILITY. I think bom is a little to pricey to really worry about taking over the market.

people actually thought no one would buy the outlander 800, but they did. My nephew recentlypurchased a team green praire 700, with warranty 8800 bucks(ouch). So my understanding, the price could be around 9200 bucks. And outlander has been given guys like what, 3 years free warranty. 800cc FI with high peformance suspension looks mighty good to me compared to my nephews 700 praire. Rumor has it chapman performance out of n.c has been dynoing a outlander with head work, cams, cdi and exhaust is getting 58+ HP at the rear wheels. So a bike that is 40+ pounds lighter ( than the outlander ) should be a monster.

Yeah, but i also got a three year warranty, for free, and my quad was almost 2000 bucks cheaper!! (7300 for mine, not sure about bom). I think bom has some wicked nice quads, but i dont think they are worth as much as they sell for. But that might be true for almost every quad!!

I think V2rider is correct. The renegade isn't really in the same catagory as the BF. No dougt though BRP is rippin up the ATV scene. Thinking about the new BRP 650 as my next ride. But gotta ride one first. Just don't know about the reliablitity since they make them so "light" and things like that.

Not the same I agree, but I need racks. This new machine means nothing to me.
A 2006 Prairie 700 is under 6500 plus tax. My dealer had a team green 700 on the floor. It was shorter than the prairie 360 sitting next to it.
