Any tips for overweight riders?

Your pal aint the only fat guy out there riding. Most of us dont have the sore boob problem but then most of us are a lot older and tend to ride slower and bounce less. Best bet is to loose some weight but that's easier said than done after a certain age. Tell your pal to take it easy and ride within his limits, thats what works for me. The folks I have ridden with are more than willing to wait at a cross road or whatever if I lag behind a bit and, I believe, even welcome the chance for a little break.

i followed the Body for Life plan: the right diet and right excercises. That and the south beach stuff are the best diets out there. ATkins is a joke. People ballon up and down on that. i never tried it b/c it is stupid. I know it's hard to start excersing and eating better, but once it is part of your routine for about 3-4 weeks, its automatic.
This is the best answer for your friend: lose the weight.
