Best oil for Bayou 300 4x4
i personally do not like the K&N. i have one on my Harley, and the directions with it say it does not need serviced for 100,000 miles. well, if it were catching all of the dirt, it would need service well before that many miles. that is my thoughts. if nothing matters except high flow, the K&N is good, but it does not seem to filter as well.
Twin air or Uni are supposed to be good, and the stock kawi filter is not bad. i have a twin air filter ordered but it hasn't arrived yet, so i have no experience with either of these, just what i read on the boards.

Thanks guys.
I had a UNI filter on my 02 300EX that I lost ( SOB ) and it seemed like it gave it a little more bottom end power. With the stock honda filter, I could be in 5th, at a verry low throttle (lugging it) and hit the gas and the quad would hesitate somewhat, and then GO. After I put in the UNI, I could be in the same situation, hit the gas, and it just took off like a bat outa HE!!. Other than the fact that they are easier to clean, that was the only noticeable difference I found.
As far as the difference between Twin Air and UNI, I have NO experience with Twin Air filters, but I have heard that they are good filters.
Thanx
Jack
