Check on ebay/motors to see if any are up for bid. Even if you have no plans on buying off of Ebay, you should be able to find out what they are really costing. Any more on out-of-state ATV purchases and the shipping that is available, it really isn't such a bad choice, just shop around and be sure the Dealer you are dealing with is honest, not only on the final price but the shipping cost too.

I know this would be a bit of a drive for you to northern Ohio, but they have a great selection and great prices. http://www.hondaeasttoledo.com/
2006 BF 650 for $5499. Not sure if its IRS or SRA. Call Scott Johnson (internet sales) and he can give you all the details on it and what else they have available. The only additional cost is $70 for paper work and since your an out of state resident you don't even pay sales tax. They always have new inventory and deals so I would call and tell Scott what your looking for and what color you want.
I got my 2005 BF 750 with 2.5 Warn winch, ITP type C series rims and 26" Mudlites with everything installed and out the door for $7,015. They have 2006 BF 750i's for $6499 and I believe that's the camo version.

Excellent prices, I'll be looking at these guys when I replace my present Upgraded BF750. Even the additional shipping "Right to your front door" would still be worth the savings. Most of the shipping charges are at $350-$475, depending how far they need to ship, still a big savings over anything here and these High-priced Dealers..

I drove to Colorado to buy my BF750, in doing so I saved $750, that $750 paid for the Wheels/tires & the upgrade to the DiamondG Tie-rod kit. My BF750 already had the Warn winch/mount included in the base price.
I could of saved even more if I bought out of Texas, as I found a dealer near Dallas that was selling the BF750s at $125 over dealer invoice but by the time I figured in the other cost to go & get it, the Colorado Dealer was the BEST deal for me, time wise too.
Ebay/motors does have a BF650i & the BF750's listed and Brand new '06s. Shipping on the BF650i '06 model was $350.
I know of others who have gone this route & have been happy with the results.

I bought my Brute Force 650i 1 mos ago, and I think I got it for a pretty could cost. Mine is a 2006, the price was 6,205.00. As you know the sticker on the 650i are 7099. As for the differences between 06 and 07, my dealer told me that there is no difference. Kawasaki just stopped making the prairie 700 and they added a few colors for the Brutes. Buy the 650i, you will not regret it.

The dealer I used was Baer's Cycle in Springfield MA.

My dealer in Massachuetts wanted $5800 for the 650, but I went for the 650i for another $500. I paid $6300 before tax for it. I brought in a copy of an internet Kawi dealer that was giving the 650i away for $5950. He couldn't believe how cheap that price was because it apparently was below dealer cost. I can't remember, which site it was, but if you do a search on the ATV boards you will find what you're looking for. I believe they were somewhere in the southeast part of the country. Hope that helps.

By the way...you will not regret your purchase!

i talked to a local dealer who wasnt wanting to budge from msrp and when I mention sub 6k price tags o n the internet he said his wholesale price was higher than 6k.

id believe that maybe his cost was higher but then he went on to tell me how deals like that on the internet arent real and are a bait and swap , and all dealers buy the atvs for the same price wholesale so theyd be taking a loss to sell it under 6k(which i dont believe for a second) .

he was your typical salesman tho and seems like the kind id want to stay away from.

I Imagine its about finding a high volume dealer that gets a a better dealer price.

theres a 750i on ebay right now for $6250 so I dont think its unreasonable to assume I could get a 650i in the sub 6k range.

Gee, I thought I got a good deal on my 06 650 SRA. I got mine for 6200 with no sales tax, but you guys are finding them a lot cheaper than that with the IRS. I will check out the Internet next time!
