Which is better for '03 Bayou 250? Uni or K&N air filter?

Ditto what V2 said. Most folks on here say not to run K&N in dusty/dirty environments. I would run one with a solid pre-filter to go with it and not worry at all.

everyone i ride with has a k and n i dont believe it about the dusty environment stuff we ride that all the time if you do decide to get a k and n and believe everypne else just get a k and n outerwear

That is what I was getting at. To be sure, the pre-filter is pretty cheap insurance for someone. I just like the regular foam filter, but I am spending money on other things right now.

I would love to get the K&N filter, as long as i could get a prefilter with it. I have a hard time finding K&N filters for Arctic Cat 650V2. Any ideas????

i have a K&N on my Harley and do not like it. the instructions say it does not need serviced for 100,000 miles. if it was catching all the dirt, it would need serviced a lot sooner than that. i am going to get the Uni to replace it.

i dunno. it came as part of an S&S Super E carb install kit, so i did a carb change at the same time as the filter install. the factory filter will not fit fit the S&S carb, so i can't just change back. like i say, Uni makes one that will fit, and i'm goin' with that one.
