Default Kawasaki, Get With it and Come Out with Some Accessories!!

Dear Kawasaki,

You are pissing off quite a few Brute owners and some of your motorcycle owners by not having a solid lineup of accessories like windshields and the like. I am so damn tired of going to various ATV parts sites, punching in 2006 Brute Force 650 and seeing nothing but Prarie accessories that often do not fit, like the 100 paperweight universal windshield I bought.

Wake up, finish up your lengthy testing processes you claim on your accessory line, and furnish us with more than skid guards, Warn winches, and winch plates. Some of us ice fish, plow snow, and ride near lakes and need something as simple as a windshield. If I take another damn dragonfly in my teeth going 50, I will... Take a note from Polaris and AC and see how many accessories they have for their owners.

Signed,

A Concerned Kawasaki Owner

Hey bubba. Sounds like your a little frustrated, but you should be. Kawi should have some more accessories for the BF, especially if they keep making the dam* BFs!!! I feel for ya!

And it is not only in the ATV arena. A dealer in Wisconsin said that same thing is happening with people buying some of their motorcycles. One of their motorcycles does not have a windshield available and it has been out for awhile. The 6 dealers I spoke with on the phone said that they themselves have had many angry customers come in. The dealers have contacted Kawi abou this problem, but they get the typical Kawi response.

I know it may seem trite to many, but a lack of windshield really affects my riding. I will definitely consider this next time I buy my next machine. It will be a weighted factor in the purchasing decision.

The other day, I nearly lost control on a dirt road. My speed was about 55 and I hit three dragonflies and they nailed me in one eye, cheek, and upper lip. That felt like I was pelted with a paintball gun at point blank range. I nearly lost control of the machine.

Thanks for letting me vent V2!

I saw those bags also on the blue Bf on the webpage. They show them, why not sell them. They are obviously already made. I wanted them the first time I saw them.
This is the only part I miss from owning my Polaris's. The accessories seemed endless.

How do some of you like the rack extensions on the BF? I'm thinking about maybe looking into them.

i like the rack extenders from kawi, they fit good, they match, and like they say"it gives multiple tie down points". i will say they if you have a flat gas pack, it will only fit on the rear, but fits nicely. the front rack extender follows the shape of the front rack, therefore a flat gas pack wont fit. before i got the rack extenders i carried a flat pack on the front when we went to hatfield mccoy. if you had to put one there it would easily unbolt in a couple of seconds. overall they were a great investment.

Those are pretty sweet windshields. At first I didn't like the two rear view mirrors and it looked over the top, but they are growing on me. I would like to see and feel one up close. They are probably pretty sturdy for almost 200 bucks. Those would be perfect for the winter as it provides a lot of up front protection from wind and snow.
