What tires should I put on it. I heard the stock tires suck pretty bad.

stiff, welcome to the board!! good to see another Montanan here. i bought my 650i at Reiters marina there in Billings.. the first one they could get.

i put 25" Bighorns on mine and wouldn't trade them for anything. this is really dependant on what you want from your 650i. the Bighorns are pretty much bulletproof but heavy. if you want to go real fast, some of the other guys might have some suggestions.

Hey, I just moved from Billings after living there for the past 9 years. My parents and my sister still live Billings! Small world! I bought my Brute from Reiters in the Heights right before I moved out to Wisconsin!

What kind of terrain are you going to be riding in? There are alot of good aftermarket tires out there, all of which will be better than the stock treads. Some popular tire are the Mudlite XL, Kenda Bearclaws, Maxxis Bighorns, outlaws, and many others. If you want bigger I would recommend 26's or 27's. the 26's fit nicely on stock rims and help with ground clearance. I am not sure if the 27's will work with stock rims.

Mad LT, I think the 27's do work with stockers, but don't quote me. They work on my BF 650 SRA.

Thanks eveyone for the help. I will be mostly trail riding up in the mountains. Don't think I will be doing much in the mud as dry is it is here, haha.

I went into Riders to see about the 650i and the guy I dealt with was pretty rude. So I ended up driving to Red Lodge to get mine at Beartooth Kawasaki and actually saved myself about $500. I couldn't believe the price difference. Pretty sure I know where I will be spending my money from now on.
