rrrrrrrrrattle

Alright it's kinda making me mad. I have a rattle in the front of my 750, but can't find anything loose. I checked all the heat shields, screws, and bolts I could see. Everything seems fine, but when I hit about 10 mph and accelerating and a slight turn I get a rattle that can be heard by everyone around me. It's not super loud, but noticeable. Are there any obvious areas I may have missed. Anything typical that you have noticed on your machines.

What kind of rattle is it? Does it sound tinny, clunky, or plasticy (new word). I had a rattle on my BF 750 and it was the front heatshield on the exhaust. The bolts seemed tight but were actually bottoming out before the head of the bolt was pressing against the heatshield. I added a lock washer to each bolt and the rattle went away. You can check by wiggling the heatshields. Check them all. If they do not seem totally tight, add lockwashers to each bolt securing them. On my 750 this was a tinny rattle. I have also heard that the exhaust bolts right off the cylinders can come loose. This gives a less tinny rattle. Check your exhaust bolts to ensure they are real snug.

First off, thanks for the replies guys.
I first looked at the exhaust and tightened all the bolts. Still a rattle. Then I took off the skid plate and inspected every bolt and nut I could see. Tried it again and still a rattle. I was just standing there looking the Brute in the eyes and noticed some dirt wedged in above the headlights. I took the hose and hosed it from the front and back. Rattle is now gone! I can't believe that little bit of dirt made that much noise, but I guess that was it. So, another thing to do once in awhile is look at your brute in the eyes.
