I need help on adjusting my carb. on my 300 bayou. I went on a trail ride in Va. and my bayou would bog-out when given the gas . I need to know how to adjust the air and gas mixture, I just put in a carb. kit not long ago. It runs fine down in S.C. but bogs out in higher alt. I would appreciate any help or suggestions..

 

Hello:

The air/fuel mix screw is on the bottom of the carb, close to the engine. You can see a little "bump" on the bottom front of the carb where the screw is. Turn it out to richen the mixture. Do this in 1/4 turn incroments and then test ride until you get it right.
