Im buying a 87 mojave off my friend, Its a pretty nice bike, all new plactics, tires, FMF pipe but the top end is toast. The Cams, and the head it self and gone. Im going to end up buying these used so Im just wondering since mojave parts aren't easily found then will other motors work. Like will a lakota head fit? I seem to recall the same motor in the mojav came in a dirtbike but I can't remember the name of it. Any help would be great

 

no the lakota head wont work....the only one that may is the klr250 which is the bike you are probally thinking of.....rolsmojave here on the fourms has a head still for sale i think with brand new cycle works cams and valves/springs......
