Default Hauler Sand Tire...

Just a quick question. Is a 22-11-10, 8 paddle hauler tire going to be good enough for my V force. I wanted the 10 paddles but they are sold out.

Nope! Hold out for the 10 paddles. Your quad has about the same weight and hp as my DS and I've tried a pair of 8 paddles. Didn't like them. I'm running pro wedges now and they work well on a stock DS.

One thing to keep in mind is he lives in Wyoming.. He dunes at Killpecker, Walden, Sa's and/or LS Utah. All these are at 5000ft or higher... At 5000ft hp is down 15%....

Then I'd probably go with the 8 paddles or wedges anyhow. All these new quads need EFI!!!!

I think the 8's will work for a while. I was getting by pretty good with sand stars but the haulers will be better. thanks for the replies fellas.

kfxandahemi and I are both going down to walden this weekend. I think he ended up getting the 8 paddle haulers and I'm going to try the 10 paddle haulers. Just for sh*ts and giggles, we'll let you guys know which ones we think work better for drags, climbing, turning etc.

Kicked the idea around for the 24s but decided not to get them becuase I read that you needed a different rim that was special for them or something like that. I already have my douglas .190s and didnt want to have to spend the extra cash on them. If I went to the dunes more often I would consiter something else but for now I hope the 22s will work.

well then, yes they will handle the V but the 22s will spin much more than if they were 24s, also a bit more than the 10 paddle haulers.
