I have a 95 bayou 220. While changing the oil tonight I noticed something hanging out of the drain plug opening. I pulled it out of the opening and discovered it was some type of grey rubber strand. It was no wider than a kite string and about 5 inches long. Then I found another 1 inch piece. I assume it was some type of seal or rubber gasket. Again it was very thin but it could just be a piece of something larger that was ripped or shredded. I just had it in Colorado at high altitude elk hunting so it was run at higher rpm than usual because of the loss of power. I have never noticed anything coming out when changing the oil before but I do not watch it drain, I just noticed it was hanging out of the hole.

Any idea what it could be? I have not noticed anything unusual about the way it runs, it seems fine.
