recently i havent been ridin my bike cause iv been replacing the plastic, so i finally get all the plastic back on and the sucker is runnin hot? what the hell is the matter, do they have thermostats? is it electrical? or could it be my radiator? the last thing i want it to be is the radiator. if yall know any body i could get extra back plastics from contact me! or radiators or whatever i need. lol

Sorry dude.... other than getting mud stuck in my radiator mine never ran hot. Fan is good about kicking on. How long was it sitting up for?

 

When was the last time you changed your anti-freeze? It may be time to drain out the old anti-freeze and add new. One thing you might consider is flushing your radiator and putting in some engine ice. I switched a while back and have been very pleased with the engine ice. The fan doesn't kick on quite as much and the machine seems to run a little cooler. I've seen dyno results and engines seem to run 15 to 25 degrees cooler just by switching and it will still protect against freezing, unlike water wetters.

 

im not sure if you get the tempeture changes as much as we do in canada but I just recently rejetted for winter because of the cold, if it has became colder lately for you it is a possibilyty your jetting is leaning out. and what do you mean by running hot? temp light on or just getting hot?
