Default CDI pros and cons

I am looking into a CDI for my 07 BF650i. My BF gets hot while riding the local trails and I have read that a new CDI can make it run a little cooler.

What are the pros and cons of new CDIs?

Thanks,
Escham

CDIs can remove the factory detuneing, some CDIs are better with modded engines some are better for stock, but for overheating problems check your coolant make sure alll you coolant lines are not kinked and start running engine ice.

Anything except DYNATEK on the 750... Moose, Copperhead, etc.

The dyna will work great on the 650. But like bearhug said they tend to have a little slow speed hiccup on the 750s for some reason.
