I just got a Mojave 250 today and I'm not sure of the year. It has the big 250 on both back fenders. It's a red frame with red wheels and white plastic with a purple seat.

If it has a purple/blue hood, then it could be a 1999. Look for the VIN, it should be on the frame at the bottom near the motor, on the left side. What is the VIN, I'll try to get the year for you. In my Mojave manual, there is a thing that helps you determine the year by looking at the VIN.

It's newer than a 1996, I'll have to take a look in my Clymer book to see if it has any information on the VIN. I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks guys, I bought it prety cheap. It needs a little work. Needs wheels bad, there aluminum and really bent up. I think it neds carb work or the valves adjusted cause it wil not kick start when it's cold. once it's hot if you let it idle high high and shut it of it'll fire right up but if it stalls or idles to low and stalls it don't wana fire up by kicking.
