i think my carburetor is shot on my mojave but i really dont kow i was wondering if there is a way i can tell if it is shot.

Maybe just needs a rebuild. But you can't tell anything by looking at it. You're gonna have to take it off and take it apart.

i rebuilt it but everytime i ride it it spits and sputters real bad.

Clean all the needles and jets, it's probably your jetting as it was with mine. It just decided to start spuddering and stuff one day and After lots of cleanings nothing happened and I rejetted and voila.

what should i rejet it to it is stock.

I think the stock main was 132 or 134. Can't remember. Starter jet is 55 I believe. Clean it really good

clean it relaly goot like what others said but make sure you can see light through the holes in the jets and if that doesn't work look on the jet themselves it should say what size jet they are and then go to your dealer or dynojet and get some new ones and also get a new needle

could the throttle valve be doing it if it is bad?

Throttle valve???? Do you mean intake valve, or accellerator pump maybe?

well, mojo carbs dont have accellerator pumps so what i think hes talking about is the slide in the carb......you can tell its bad if you look at it and its scratched and/or scored badly......if your interested, my 36mm cwr mikuni carb kit is for sale......im getting a 335 kit and port work plus a few other goodies so its time for me to step it up to a 38mm flat slide or a fcr.
