Brute 750 high compression piston
#2
Are you still running your turbo?? If you are and go with the high comp pistons you know you will have to run at least around 112 octain or maybe even alcohol. You also probably have to much time on your motor for stock bore pistons you may have to get your cylinders honed if not slightly bored a run slightly larger pistons. You probably already know this but it's just something to think about.

Unfortunately no im not running the turbo anymore. The heat from the intake charge began to warp my airbox.Ill put it back on after I make an aluminum air box(probably never I have NO time).Thats why im looking at the high comp pistons.

Well, get you a good set of pistons, wiesco makes some 11:1 and JE makes some 12:1 and drop them in. A good port job would really help out, since your gonna have the heads off to drop in the pistons anyway.

HHHMMM,,,,,,,Id probably go with the 11:1 set.12 seems a little high to me,for trail riding and mudding. If I was going all out race or lots of high speed I might go with the 12:1.Anybody have a set?know how much of a differance it makes?
