This new KFX450 looks like it's going to top the class as the nicest, most full featured and PRACTICAL 450 racer in the class. Electric or kick start, EFI, replaceable fenders, reverse, aluminum frame... and the list goes on....

It could use a small styling adjustment, but overall I'm impressed.

 

most of the 450's can be kick or electric, kawie will have to order the kicker for you, it doesnt come stock. efi a couple of them have that now, but the kawie has a bigger system then the others. every quad has replaceable fenders,lol.

ALL IN ALL I WANT ONE, ITS GOING TO ROCK.

 

I thought the new Kawi was on 08 model? Did I hear incorrectly? If it's out for 07 then if I was to have a choice I'd have a tough time picking between this one and the new outlaw 525 ...

 

wait?? theres a decision between the 450 and the outlaw?? i've ridden the outlaw, and dont get me wrong, the independant suspension is GREAT for my dad or my brother with their bad backs, but CLEARLY u dont ride very hard or u would know that polaris just cant keep it together. They're fine for Harry Hunter or joe homeowner but try putting one on a farm or commercial application. Anything that requires it to WORK HARD every day and rack up say 5000 miles and see how much more your repair and parts bills are than say a yami or a kawi. I've ran them both and the polaris just falls apart many miles before its foreign cousins. I'm as american as u, but i hate to say it, the japenese are proud of what the build and they build it right.

 

Well, it's badged an early release 2008 model.
But it is charted to start arriving in dealerships in early 2007.

With that said....

* What other SPORT quad has EFI?
* I mean removable/replaceable fenders like the DVX400... not the entire plastic.

 

LT 450is EFI and my dealer says sometime in the next month they'll have my 2 quads in course I am first on the list [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I"ve heard that its supposed to be in dealers around march or april,as an early release 08 model.The thing that i really like about this new 450,is it has reverse and that 450 engine is bada$$ in the dirtbike,so i'm hoping the same in the quad.

 

I got a good question. why would you ever think about putting a polaris outlaw 525 or a kfx450 to farm duty or commercial use anyways? they are sport quads? put em to the track, the dunes, or the trails....

also almost every quad nowadays you will put to farm use has IRS....
