Default 2005 Brute Force 750 pricing?????/

So, I have the opportunity to buy one of two bikes:

1. 2005 Brute Force 750 with 10 hours and 65 miles in mint condition. What is a good price for it? I was thinking in the $4500 range since it has no warranty or service records. What are your thoughts? The bike is stock except for the addition of a winch and front bag. It looks like it was used 2x's! However, I know that the 2005 models had some problems. Were most rectified with recalls or easily fixed?

2. 2005 Polaris 700 EFI with a 30 month warranty for $5k. The seller in including a bunch of stuff (helmet, ramps, etc.) and maintenance receipts. The bike is in new condition as well.

I currently ride a 2002 Prairie 650 and love the thing. I just want to get an additional bike for friends/family to use. Given my choices, which would you pick and why? Thanks for your anticipated responses.

jersey650,
$4500 would be more than fair. Most of the brute 750's are going for at least $5000 on ebay.

kawasaki will still honor all the recall stuff. any dealer can check the vin# to see if it's been done. it's hard to find a 1 1/2 year old atv with that kind of low hours. stay away from the polaris,a long warranty is nice but sucks when your bringing it in to the shop 2-3 times a year.

as i agree with both of the previous posts and myself would go for the brute, but if you are not going to ride it, only family or friends then i would say the polaris. the brute can be a handful and possibly dangerous for someone who doesnt ride a BF750 all the time. the polaris is fast as well just not as wild as the brute.

Last June I sold a 05 750 brute camo with 75 miles on it for $5800.00. I would think that if you could get one for $4500.00. JUMP ON IT

Brand new Brute 750s cost $6000 with winch and plow in my neck of the woods (PA). Why would anyone pay close to that for a used one? Suckers...
