#1
Hey, Im going to glamis soon, I have a 06 kfx 700, just wondering if it will be able to run on racing fuel with out any problems, and i was wondering what to jet it to, I have stock exaust, k&n, air box mod, dynojet jet kit, and a clutch kit, o and should i get iridium plugs would it help? thanks

glamis is about 800ft so depending on your elevation mabey no jetting. no need for race fuel in a stock v engine, save your money(it really runs better on 87octane, i run 91 as it works with every thing else)

I agree....
If the motor is stock, just use pump fuel..
I run 91 in the YFZ (which should have higher compression than the KFX 700), and it does just fine

I agree with these guys.race fuel will not help you unless you have a high compression engine.I dont believe it will hurt it if you still want to run race fuel though.I have a kfx and I run 91 or 93 octane.

Sorry forgot to mention the group im going with gets 50 gallon drums of racing fuel and everyone pitches in so I just wanted to know if it would hurt it, if so I would need to take my own supply of regular.

If your a stock KFX700 your running 9.9-1 compression, which means your fine on even 87 octane. When my KFX was stock I ran some race gas no problems and no improvement on performance. You really need to get over 11.0-1 before the higher octane will have an effect.. That's why all the top three 450's are between 11.0 and 11.3 compression stock..
