I know this has probably been beaten to death a million times by now. Concerning a Baou 300 4x4, I know not a whole lot is out there for the front differential. But can I make it solid, like a spool if you will, no differential, both wheel locked solid...............

You can; but you better be REALLY into drag racing because that is about all your going to be able to do with the front end locked up. It will want to go straight and only straight with the front end locked up.

 

Hmm, thanks for the input. Is there a lockable differential that exists for the Bayou 300?

I have been wondering the same thing. I have been looking all over the net with no luck. For now all I have been doing when one front wheel starts to spin I pull on the front brake handle. This helps to make both wheels pull.

 

Pullin the front brake, simple enough. I don't have a 4x4 quad right now, but after this big snow we just had I'm ready to step up. I was enchanted with the Prairie 360 for awhile, with it's trigger pull front differential engage.........
