Default Auto fog lights?

Need to add some lights to daughters quad, just for daylight to be seen in dust.
Anyone ever use automotive fog lights?
12 volt, just wondering if they would work on her Kaw Lakota 300

I've done it several of my wheelers ,usually the standard lighting isn't enough for night riding ,
but good idea for a small quad

I used the Hela 55 watt lights and they work awesome. Another thing to use is the led lights...they use almost no current, and some are intensely bright.

you have a link to these led lights, i've been very hesitant to put another set on my rancher, due to the current draw and the limited output of my stator "350" watts at 5900 rpm, which i am never at

You can try ebay motors and search out "led hyper", or "led bright" or "led atv" and that will give you lots of choices. If you arent handy with electrical..get the ones which are prewired and are rated for 12 volts or more. No led light pulls much for current. Even if you had a hundred of them hooked up, it still wouldnt be a watt.

i just went to wal mart and bought a set of $14.99 driving lights for my kodiak. they're small and shaped like a cat's eye. only put one on the hood and hooked it up to the hi beam switch. very pleased with it.
