Just wondering if anybody has put the Lakota 335 big bore kit in their bayou. Did it make a big difference in performance?

right now im having the 335 kit put into my lakota and its susposed to give it a good ammount of power increase so i suspose it would do the same for the bayou......ill get back to you once i get the engine in and see how it runs.

 

Who carries that,have been looking for a lakota big bore kit for over a year. Have basic mods K&N filter- eliminated the retarded air box assy. Put free flow muffler on, rejetted carb, but still need more power for oregon sand dunes

 

So how did it turn out?

 

still waiting on the engine. CWR ran out of stock on the pistons and je is taking a while to get the new ones made up. I should have it back in my quad by the end of the month. I will make a post of how it runs when i get it all together.

 

I8One22- here is a website of a guy that has a great reputation (based on many of the threads here) Cycle Works Racing. I recommend him just based on other members feedback. If anyone wants to PM me with your email address I will be happy to forward you a response to a letter that I wrote to CWR (Cycle Works Racing). I asked a few questions (probably some amature ones) but he responded and included prices in the email as well. Another company that has a big bore kit (I havent seen any feedback on this guy, but I am sure his product is good) is Four Stroke Tech (FST). I am soon going to be purchasing a big bore kit myself (from CWR) and maybe some extras. I will be saving up for some time to buy better suspension, but it is in my plans...
