I can't speak for him but I have the same setup other than my 650 is an 06. I will tell you that I like the 650 better in the handling dept. It steers very easy and rides much better. I also like the way the engine runs better than the 05 750. The 650 has almost as much power as it is hard to tell the diff. The 650 seems to rev quicker. It is hard to explain until you can compare the 2 side by side. As you can see I ride the 650 all of the time and the kids get the 750.I have rambled on long enough but we have to mention the less cost for the 650 also.To me its a no brainer. Go with the 650.

If I had to pick between the two, I would go with the 650. It has great low end torque, steering is nice and light, better on fuel and is easier on the pocketbook. I have a moose Module in my 750 and that is the reason that it is more powerful. Stock you couldn't tell the difference. I have not ridden a 07 750 to see if there is any power difference, I dont belive that there has been any changes as far as power goes. The 650 also runs alot smoother than the 750, even with all the needle updates, I dont belive that my 750 is running 100%.

You still never addressed the fact that the 750 has more Torque.
We can go on all day with posts from what people think >

I don't understand. I own the 06 650i and the 05 750. There is no way the 650 independant keeps up with the 750. I have tried it and the 650i looses by 4 lengths easily (300ft. Both have copperheads and K&N's. Now that I put a muzzy on the 750 it leaves the 650 in the dust(I know, unfair comparison). They both have great power, but the 750 is still king. "

I've raced the 650 on pavement many times and out run it everytime. I personally don't really care about drag racing it we just horse around from time to time. I'm not saying the 650 can't hang because it can. Its not a blow out race, but as said before, its the added torque used for pulling, towing...etc that you may not actually feel by seat of the pants but you will when you load it up. That includes over sized tires and rims, all the extra goodies....etc.

the body on the 650 is an updated prarie body with brute fenders adn the OLD style floor boards, you will slip on them and bust youre shins have fun I enjoy teh aftermarket value of teh 750 over my old praire , and teh power will be noticed when it counts teh most, doubling , mudding, towing, pulling, pushing, ect. besides the chassis on the 750 is completely diff also better ride when loaded for all day trails , I know this is an old thread but nobody talks like they really use their bikes to the fullest abilitys and that is just my opinion .
