Has anyone seen the new kaw 90? It appears that it is not the same machine as the new suz 90. How does this machine run and does it compare in power to the honda trx90?

I am looking to get my son a 90, but I am not sure if I want to go green, suz, or old faithful red. Thanks for the input.

Kawi and Suzuki 90 are very similar quads requiring minimum age of 12 to operate.
Both have:
1). Air-cooled single 4-stroke.
2). CVT primary to Chain final drive.
3). Electric + Recoil start.

Brake setup is different (F/R):
Kawi has Drum/Disc but Zuki has Drum/Drum.

Price differs by $350.
Kawi @$2150 and Zuki @$2500.

I hear Kaw has a Kymco engine. That scares me. I think I am going to have to go TRX even though it is larger than the kaw and suz.

I looked at the Kawasaki and Arctic cat and they are the same except price both machines are made by Kymco. Also the Polaris is built by E-ton It seems all the new small 4-strokes are outsorced .I purchaced the Kymco for $1800 and they gave me a $100 helmet.I have not had any problems yet.I checked the Kawasaki dealer and they confirmed that thier bikes were Kymco .

Stead, I would not go with the Honda. Look at the detailed specs, and include the Arctic Cat DVX 90 in your comparison. We have the AC DVX 50, and it has gobs of power, a nice long wheelbase, and most importantly hydraulic rear brakes, which are a lot easier for a kid to squeeze than mechanical (which the Honda has). Kymco makes great bikes for AC and Kaw (and Suz?), or you can buy one direct for Kymco.

Our AC DVX 50 has been just excellent - good starting (with an automatic choke), great relaibility (now in our second year with it), good power, and it runs thru mud and water very well. I would expect the same from the 90, although I would certainly put bigger mudlite tires and rims on the rear (like we did).

I have a KFX 90 that my 10 yea old son uses ,he loves it its a great little goer .Yes its made By Kymco.I took out the clutch spacer ,allso known as a speed limiter . If you have a Kymco dealer near you you may want to buy a Mongoose 90 allmost the same as a KFX90 some trim pices are differnt . Only problem I Had so far was my KAW dealer could not get me new brake pads Backordered .So went to the Kymco dealer and got some worked great . I realy like Kaws but my next ATV mite be a Kymco worth looking into Rob A.

Did you take the clutch spacer out yourself and if you did how did you do it.

Thanks
