06 brute
#6
My 750 is a '05 but changed the carb setting to same as '06 (slightly bigger jets) spec. But that shouldn't matter. I am a casual rider, rarely wide-open-throttle and I do lots of easy scenic riding in a national forest. I think my average MPG (14-16) is higher than that of most other folks. See, the biggest facgtor for MPG is really depending on HOW you ride. I know some guys who are riding at WOT most of time get less than 10 MPG and they complain and wonder why so low. When I go into a deep forest, I want to make sure I have enough gas to come back out. That's one other reason I ride in a leisure manner. By the way, those big tires give you good traction and looks but rob lots of MPG and power.

we got an 06 bf 750 and it does take up alot of gas, it's got a few little mods. but we never cruise, we usually ride at full or half throttle. my cousin has a sportsman 800 and we take up around the same gas, but his is stock.
