How slow is too slow?
How slow is too slow for HI gear?
Speed doesn't matter on the CVT system. What really matter is the amount of load or resistance on the wheels. For example, on a flat ground, you can just crawl in HI gear and it would not hurt anything. However, if you are towing something or going up a steep hill or going through mud or snow, you should use the LO gear whether you are going slow or fast, because you don't want to burn up your belt.

there is a minimum speed the clutch can produce without slipping. the stall speed. it is like 7 mph in hi and around 3 or 4 in low. if you run without KEBS, this is the speed the clutch will disengage and let ya freewheel. if you run lower than these speeds, your are just doing a "controlled belt burn" to controll speed. anyting higher than these speeds is normal operation. i still use low range if i expect to go slow for a while...
