new here & i have two of these machines. has anyone had or heard of this problem on the 06 650i. any info would be great so i can prevent any problems that might come up.

 

yes and no. they do have the buss plug, but the ground (black) wires are not connected to it anymore. removing the ground wires was considered a fix, but i'll probably remove the plug somedayand solder the wires.

thanks for the input i really love the machines just wanted to make sure i would not have any problems on the trail

 

IF i were you, just stuff all the conectors full of dialectric grease every once and awhile. Great machine though, ready to get mine.
