You're forgeting one thing. The KFX450 has a very narrow front frame section. The A arms are just as long if not longer than the 450R and YFZ. You will find that it is going to be very stable without having to be as wide as the Suzuki.

Its just messed up, it has an aluminum frame, and it is still 364 lbs, that is 14lbs more than the yfz! i was expecting it to be at least 345lbs or less and also

-its narrow, only 46"
-has reverse
-has only 8.5inch travel on front

Or was this supposed to be a trail machine????

They messed up big time on this one

Dude what are you on? its a bike that any rider can take in any riding direction after the first year I am getting one its versitile and well thoguht out.

what are you guys on? you say its light? it has an aluminum frame and its still heavier than the trx450r, they must really suck at designing frames- aluminum frame that weighs the same or more as a steel one.

It has an electric starter/battery and the trany has reverse gears. That's why it weighs more than a 450R.

Aluminum doesn't necessarily equate to lighter. You have to use thicker tubing and more gusseting when you go with aluminum. What it does do is it flexes where they want it to flex and is solid and ridged where they want it to be solid and ridged.

Here is an idea for you...... Wait until it comes out then make your conclusions based on FACTS not just "Duh.... Me thinks it Sucks."

Not that I have any of them, I am a big fan of the sport/race machines, and miss my Raptor. I cant wait to see how the new KFX compares. I'm sure it will be as good if not better. After all, they had all the other machines out to compare the proto type to before finalizing it.

i think the kawi 450 will dominate. give it till its 2nd year so they can work out everything with the efi. but im betting it will be able to hang with preds and 450rs on XC while hanging with the yfz 450r and r 450 on the mx track
