I have a 1989 bayou that was rebuilt and bored out last year. About Novemember last year I ran into some problems with it being that I had only had the bike for about a month. It was back firing through the carbuerator so I took it off and had it cleaned, which even though the jets were clogged up it didn't help it. Not long after that my battery died. So I took the the bike into the shop and they said that I needed a new cdi box and voltage regulator. Which if anyone has priced these thing you know they are not that cheap. So I finally found a box a reasonable price and I got it the regulator a new battery put all that on and changed the oil. Got bike running and took it out for a ride last Saturday, and it did great... That is untill I got home. I let the bike sit for a little bit and went outside to wash it off and it wouldn't start, my battery was dead. I charged the battery and it held charge so I was thinking it might be the stador. I know they are not that cheap either. I was hoping that someone might have some suggestions and if that what everyone else thinks that it is if they know where I can find one cheap.
