Brute Force 500
#1
Come onnnnn Kawi. Whats up with this lol, the Prairie 360 doesn't come close to closing the mid-size segment dang it. I fail to see why Kawi doesn't offer something mid-size. Pretty simple do what Can-Am did and just bore down the 650 V-Twin to 500cc and upgrade it, suspension, handling etc. I think it would be a neat machine. What yall think.

probably the biggest driving factor is price. the brute force is priced probably the same as the 500 class bikes, so they figure why make it.
Besides once your drive this mystical 500 and then test drive the 650, we all know what your gonna do anyways. maybe they are just saving them selves the trouble of having to buy back the 500's from all the dealers because no one will buy them.

BF800efi IRS with 65hp and under $8000
BF800efi SRA with 65hp and under $7600
BF800carb IRS with 65hp and under $7200
BF800carb SRA with 65hp and under $6800
BF650efi IRS with 55hp and under $7000

BF500carb IRS with 50hp and under $6200

AND all of these would be v-twins.
OH, BTW, I am dreaming except the 800 is suppose to be coming. If they offered all of these, every one could get what they wanted, but from an economical stand point, it probably wouldn't work. LOL

wow, that would be allot of atvs. You know what i think. I think manufacturers need to stop with the power and start making all the atvs different. Make them better handlers and terrainable. Make them better off road and such and stop making them race cars.

KAWASAKI REALLY NEEDS A 450 OR 500 L/C BIKE ,THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER IN THIS ARENA AND THEY ARE LOOSING OUT BIG TIME! MUST BE PUTTING TOO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT IN THE MOTORCYCLES TO CARE!

thats nuts, they figure you can buy their 650 sra for the fee of the 500's...and they are right...why go with a 500 when you can get big bore ....
what they really need is a top shelf 800 with indi rear and f.i.
then they keep the 650 irs and sra...maybe keep the 360 prairie and have a 400/450 Brute with irs for about 5800/6200...
then they cover their bases....

that sra is a dying breed of machine .irs is the way to go better ride better traction in the rough anyone that rides a irs dont go back to straight axle except flat land riders and its not so much about the price but about buying a bike with the power for entry level riders ,wives and people that aint power hungry but do want enough to get it done if you did do a survey you would probably find the 500 class to be the highest selling class
