I have an 03 P650 and was wondering how to tighten my diff lock if at all possible. I don't really want to have to take it back to the shop. It doesn't seem to have much grab anymore. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

I am just getting into the Kawasaki's, maybe I can help though. Does the cable have slack? You could verify this by putting it in diff lock, then try to move the front diff arm farther. If it moves much more, than the cable is loose. Should be like all other cable adjustments!

 

There is an ajustment for the cable down by the diff.

 

and right at the the top of the handlbar. Follow your yellow lever to it.
