I figure it is normal, since it done it from hr 1, but what is making the "turbo like" noise? Also I had it running with the seat off and it soundls like lifters ticking, but the noise seems to be coming from the little boxes under the seat. The noise is too far back to be the engine. I am new to Brutes, and need to figure this stuff out. I am not worried about them, just curious Thanks!

Noises already??? Glad I got a big PO PO!! The only noise I hear is the sweet exhaust when I drive over lil BFs

the turbo like noise is just the clutch because kawi uses straight cut gears so no worry it's normal. the ticking noise could also be the clutch spinning, if you could video it it would help quite a bit.

 

The ticking sounds alot like lifters. But the noise seems to be coming too far back from the rear jug. It is loudest near the black electrical connectors under the seat. I know the rear jug is near there, but if I move forward 2 inches closer to the jug, the noises softens. Anyway, Oh well. I am not too worried. Thanks for the clutch info. My father-in-law just thinks that sounds the coolest!

Popo's hear only one series of noises. Bang,bang, click,click where is my dealer? Kawi riders here 4wd actuators and belt sensors. Just letting you know that you are good to go.

 

I have ridden three bf750's, and all have the turbo sound, so I would not be worried about that.

Well apperantly I can't joke around with my good buddy Instigater on the Kawi side without someone getting upset [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] And as for pulling, the last bike pulls I was at Polaris won ALL the classes including the 500 class that I took.
