If I roll to a stop not under power right before I stop there is a loud squeeling noise from the clutch for about 3 seconds.

You might try to check your CVT belt tension...maybe it just needs to be adjusted. If you don't know how to adjust the belt, you can either guy a service manual or check the tech tips section on nyroc's site.

mikeyboyesq is right-- it is probably somewhat tight. how many miles/hours are on your brute? how long has it been since you changed belts?

 

05 with 900 miles stock belt.

Could it just be your brakes squeaking...they do that now and then....

 

I'd say it is your Belt. Both of my '05 & '07 do it & even my older Prairie 650's did too. I did check the Belts in all of them & everything was A'OK.
