I recently purchased a Kawasaki Bayou 300 2x4. It was represented to me as a 2002 model. The Frame Number is only partially readable and I suspect it may not actually be a 2002. Can anyone tell me signs to look for that would help identify the true year model? All help appreciated..... Jim

Thanks for responding..... It is Green with Black rigging. With a little help from my local Kawasaki dealer I determined the engine and components are 2001 model, but the frame is a 1995 model. Still, I find it hard to believe that a 2001 kawasaki Bayou 300 2X4 (KLF300-B14) would be compatible with a frame that is seven years older. Did Kawasaki Bayous remain so unchanged over the years that parts are interchangable? Regards, Jim
