Like I said I just bought a 04 KFX700 and I spent all last week at Winchester Bay Oregon. The bike came with 8 paddle dune runners 22/11/10 (knock off haulers). I had the worst time hooking up with those worthless tires. I was told to go with the 12 paddle skat trak haulers same size. Does anyone know if that is a good choice or is there a better paddle tire out there. Oh ya this bike has exhaust, k&n air, clutch kit, jet kit, cdi, so it is not quite stock. Any advice would be great because I am now hooked on the dunes and I am already planning another trip soon. Later!!!

 

i run sand stars front and rear. not as good as a straight paddel for draging but better all around handling.

The haulers are the only way to go. If you want v paddles then go with the edges. Nothing hooks in the sand like skat trak.

 

I run Skat Trak Extremes 22" rear, Sand stars front 22"... My 04 is heavily modified...I used to run Sand stars on the rears but wanted that extra bite for the drags...Very happy and they still dune just fine...

 

i whould recomend stak trak haulers if money does not madder and sand stars if you are on a budget....but i whould not go with the 12 cup because they will be very hard to spin which will make you go slower....i whould go with a 8 or 10 cup for your bike.

 

You need 24" 9 paddle Extremes. (straight paddle) or 24" 9 paddle Edges (V paddle)
