I have a dent (not too large) in the fender of my atv and I would like some ideas as to how to pull it out so as to have minimal damage. What about heating the plastic? gentle persuasion? Appreciate any input!

Where exactly is the dent at? Can you not pop it out with your hand? What kind of quad is it?

The quad is a 2001 400 KVF (Canadian for Prairie). The dent is in the top of the left front fender. The dealer, who is also a friend, managed to heat the inside of the fender with a hair dryer and push most of it out. However, a slight dent still remains. I'm hoping that the warm summer sun, perhaps with the aid of a hair dryer, will pop the rest out. I dunno...whadda ya think? Any suggestions?

How did you get a dent there? I have a Prairie 300 4x4 and haven't dented it. I've broken my rack a little and rolled it over several times but haven't managed to dent it. Those rear fender supports right by the floorboards keeps getting pushed against my tires when I try to slip through the trees.
