i put 26" terra cross r/t's on my 07 b/f. it improved the handling of my bike tons. just got back from waynoka, playing in the sand dunes and they seemed to do just fine. they have a good bite in the mud no probs. havent got to play in the snow yet but guessing i will get where i want to go. i wished i would have replaced my stock tires a long time ago. good luck on whatever choice you make.

Maxxis Bighorns seem to be a very popular choice for many Brute owners including myself. The tread is made for rocks and dirt and the radial construction will improve the Brute's marginal handling in stock form. Many longtime Bighorn owners are also reporting gettting an eye-popping 4000-5000 miles out of them. I recently added them and some ITP Type 7 wheels and the difference in handling is night and day.

Go with the ITP XTRs. I have an 07 brute 750 with 27" XTRs on 14" ITP type 7 wheels, and they are a very nice setup.

Im very happy with my 27" XTR's. rode an identical quad that had mudzilla's on it. Night and day difference between the two machines. the XTR's handle 10x better.
very happy with these tires.

So how do the 26s measure out. I have the 25 inch Terracrosses and they are noticably shorter than the stock Dunflops. Been thinking about putting mine on the wifes Grizzly 450 and putting a set of 26 inchers on my Brute. Just curious if they are close to a true 26 inch tire height wise and if they are really a inch wider than the 25 are.

i have my t/c's on 14" itp 112ss. the height of the tire measures out being 25 3/4" . i am sure i could put a few more lbs of air in there and get that 26. far as the width of the tire it measures 11" plus. cant believe how much wider and bigger it made the bike look. the biggest plus is the improved handling, i dont think they should be allowed to put the factory dunflops on them bikes. you always feel like it wants to roll on turns. will try to put some pics on tomorrow. later

Swamplites are a great all terrain, aggressive tire. You can see them in my pics. Over 1,000 miles and still look new!!
